With October only having been 'active' for three days, there was still a while to go before Spookyville. But that didn't mean that there were other things planned, both for Spookyville and for other things.

With a flier now at school advertising a chance for humans looking to be on Animalia Ambassadoria, there were those who were interested. Of all the applicants, only two freshman girls were found to be easily acceptable, especially since one of them was planning to jumpstart their journalism career and her overall goal was to win the Pulitzer prize.

Miss Vivian and Mrs. Wolfe were called to the main office of the UFC-A, for a strange reason. Though the reason why made them both groan.
"There was apparently a request for a Vampire VS. Werewolf matchup for Halloween." said Brett, reading something that was recently posted on the UFC-A website.
"Okayyy..." said Miss Vivian, not knowing what else to say.
"But apparently it's going to be part of a requested 'Boo Haw Haw'." said Brett. At that, everyone groaned at the bad joke. "As part of it, it would be similar to a UFC-A tournament, except that everyone would dress in silly costumes and use silly wrestling moves."
"We might take part in that." said Mrs. Wolfe, "But we might have to dial back on things like loose funerary wrappings for mummies that would otherwise cause serious injury."

There was also some good news for both Animalia Aquatica and the Asian Colony. As part of the link between the colony and the game Okami, there was going to be a "divine council" based off of the divine creatures/spirits of the brush from said game. While originally at a loss for Yomigami, Okami's sequel Okamiden had a surprising solution that was also surprisingly simple. In Okamiden, the young Yomigami were actually sea horses, or sea dragons as they were sometimes known. With that in mind, it was decided to use Triton and Thoosa's DNA to uplift a pair of seahorses that were common to the waters of both China and Japan to fill the role of Yomigami on the island's divine council.
The female blue surgeon fish that was meant to be the living version of Dory was successfully uplifted, and it was confirmed that the blades that gave surgeonfish their name was now near her hips, and were both extendable and sheathable like a cat's claws. But this was somewhat overwhelmed by the lewd comments on "razor-sharp love handles".
The barreleye fish, which was revealed to be a male, was as well built as any male heavyweight in Animalia, but his transparent head, now more like a transparent skull, was of extreme interest to psychologists and neurologists. While he was allowed to be studied, after a fashion, the Edicts made it clear that any experiments that made him uncomfortable would be halted, and banned immediately.

There was also another victory scored for many people, and not just Project Cameron. Liao was a victim of human trafficking from Thailand who was rescued by an eagle-eyed flight attendant. While she looked like she was only fourteen, she was actually sixteen, and therefore eligible for membership in Project Cameron. Tuxing was fond of Liao the same way an older sibling is fond of his or her awkward younger sibling, and was always ready to help her. But what was really surprising about her was that she was not only the youngest kalarippayattu practitioner, she was also the youngest to become proficient the most dangerous of the weapons, the urumi sword whip.

While Kosho, who didn't mind being called Pepper, had a long way to go to be recognized as a chef, both her and her interest caught the attention of the Le Cordon Bleu schools. She was currently taking a correspondence course to get the basics of Asian cooking down before her actual lessons began. Until then, she was enjoying the fame/notoriety as Animalia's largest Amphibian Animalian.
