Claudia listened intently as Katie and Kellie now explained not only the other timeline but how they had met once again. Claudia stared in awe as she learned that Katie had discovered that her mother existed in a different timeline, one where her mother existed as a 16 year old girl with 16 year old versions of the people she had known for years now.
“Wait a minute,” Claudia exclaimed. “So your telling me that this girl is your mom and that she’s friends with 16 year old versions of ourselves.”
“Pretty much,” Katie shrugged.
“How the hell could you not tell me or the rest of us about this Katie,” Claudia frowned. “This is incredible, I mean this is your mom we’re talking about. Plus it turns out we have other versions of ourselves. When do we get to meet them?”
“Claudia I didn’t tell you because things are kind of complicated right now,” Katie sighed. “There’s a sorceress in the other timeline that’s causing a lot of grief in both timelines. I’ve been trying to figure out how to help Kellie deal with that and keep the rest of you safe.”
“And you guys say I’m stubborn,” Claudia grumbled. “You should Of told all of this sooner, I’m sure Kel was super pissed that you kept this a secret as long as you did.”
Kellie watched as her daughter now blushed as she rubbed her neck sheepishly. “Claudia listen,” she said weakly. “Don’t be mad at Katie okay? She’s been struggling with how to explain all this for awhile. She didn’t want to alarm anyone with other timelines and evil sorceresses. You guys have enough to worry about.”
“Then how come Lynne and Gloria not only know about it but traveled there as well.”
Kellie looked over at the two young teens frowning at them. “They came over on their own free will,” she grumbled. “Apparently Lynne here is a lot more comfortable not following directions and being reckless than her sister.”
“Hey you taught me a lot of those spells Aunt Kellie,” Lynne exclaimed. “If anything this is your fault.”
Kellie felt her face burn with anger, she wanted to yell at the teen but paused. “God you are just like your mother,” she said as she began to laugh softly. “She probably would of tried to flip it onto someone else when she was your age.” Sighing she now gazed around the room, despite her failing strength she had to admit it was proving to be a fun visit. As she was about to speak she saw a look of fear cross her daughters face.
“Mom your hand!”
Kellie paused looking down at her hand. Kellies left hand appeared translucent, holding it up in front of her face she was surprised to see it appeared to be fading away. Although she was able to move it she found it could no longer touch anything, passing through solid objects.
“Huh wasn’t expecting that,” she mused as she gazed curiously at her ghost hand. As she watched closely she could see it was slowly beginning to spread. “I’m almost out of time,” she whispered. “Looks like I’m not only becoming weaker but aim fading away as well.”
“Are you going to be okay mom,” Katie asked with concern.
“I’ll be okay once I get back to my timeline,” she said casually. Standing up slowly she smiled at her daughter and her friends. “I am glad I got to come here though, I’m hoping I can come back soon. I need to have a reunion with my sisters.”
Claudia and Katie nodded as they gazed at the teen. Kellie now gave her daughter a quick hug as she turned towards Claudia, Lynne and Gloria. “Gloria, Lynne you two need to stay here,” she said quickly. “Claudia, it was good to see you. Hope we can talk more next time we visit.”
“Sounds good,” Claudia said. “Although I need to talk with Katie here about visiting this other timeline. Especially if there’s some evil bitch sorceress trying to mess with all of us. Besides, want to see what the alternate me is like.”
Kellie smirked as she thought of her Claudia meeting her this Claudia. “I like the sound of that,” she smiled. “Good to see you all again. All of you take care. Oh and Lynne...stop being reckless.”
“Can’t make any promises Aunt Kellie,” she grinned.
Kellie chuckled as she now touched her belt, in only a moment akatie and the others watched as she vanished back to her reality. Claudia turned to Katie and her sisters,furrowing her brow at the trio. “You three have a lot of explaining to do,” she said. “Now let’s work on getting Lynne and Gloria home.”
