Allow me to explain...
I had been dating the love of my life, Alexander for about a year. We were in love, for sure, and every moment we spent with one another was amazing. I loved his hair, his smile, even his sense of humor. His body was pretty great too, but that's not what drew her to him of course!
it was on that one fateful evening were we decided to go to the carnival as it only comes to town once a year. After the fun, but unspectacular couple of hours is when we decided to leave, But on our way out that something caught Alex's eye. he wanted to see it before we left that it was a freak show.
"Why? It'll only be losers in costumes." she argued.
"Come on, lighten up! It'll be fun!" he said and grabbed her hand and dragged her inside.
The display was far from your typical freak show as it was for what it seemed to be that rather than the bearded ladies or two-headed babies, it was a selection of "animal people", human figures with animal features. Leona the Lioness was an alluring blonde with golden fur, tail, and a tendency to gnarl on the raw flesh thrown over the bars of her enclosure. Sebastian the crab Boy was, well, a foul-smelling crustacean soaking in a pool of salt water. As she gawked at the array of bizarre creatures, she later heard a brief yelp from somewhere in the darkness.
"Alex?" she briefly asked her lover.
she looked around, but he was nowhere to be seen. A door was slightly ajar as a warning not to enter was not enough to stop her from going in. As she did so, a hand took her forcefully by the shoulder, provoking her into swinging an elbow into the person's face.
Inside the room was a terrible sight- my boyfriend, my true love, splayed out on a dentist-style chair, malicious figures surrounding his body which had been removed of clothing. Picking up the nearest, heaviest utensil that she beat off the perpetrators and lifted Alex up, making a quick escape.
We ran for some time before coming to a field, where she lay Alex down and gave him some of her own clothes to cover himself up with Relief. However, he gave out a small moan of pain, indicating there was something wrong with him. Turning him on his side, a noticeable mark was visible on his shoulder.
"They injected me with something." he moaned before he then passed out.

Six months had passed since then, but we're still together. mostly pretty happy that The fact he's mostly an animal, though it can sometimes be an issue. he only wants to be treated like a normal human boy, but his animal instincts can sometimes get the better of him. his family and school sometimes tend and want to treat him like the animal he arguably is.
