... to go back to that damned yard sale and figure out what the hell was going on. Emily was still stunned but agreed to her, "Boyfriend's" plan. Emily meant to move but she couldn't help but stand there and gaze at Rick. He was a woman in every way. He still had curly red hair, but now had it past the shoulders. He still had his Atari t-shirt on but it now had a more feminine fit with a frillier end to it. He also had massive tits, bigger than Emily's. Plus a butt that was just smaller than her's, barely fit in a skirt.
Emily snapped out of her confused trance and told Rick to stop touching himself. "You're right. We have to go back now and figure out what this thing is. If they don't then hopefully they at least know where the thing came from."
Rick nodded and angrily brushed his new red curls out of his face as the two walked back out of the apartment and down to Rick's car. Rick opted to drive but when he couldn't reach the pedals as well in his shorter form he let Emily, who was at least used to it, drive. As they drove Rick kept shifting in his seat and Emily noticed.
"Rick why do you keep fidgeting?" She asked.
"Sorry babe, it's just, I'm used to something, being there." He said awkwardly motioning toward his now empty crotch.
Emily felt concern for Rick but also couldn't help thinking of herself. She didn't swing that way so not only would Rick be stuck as a woman, but both would be out of a relationship. "No." She thought. "We have to focus on figuring out this thing." The two pulled up to the house as they saw no yard sale in sight. They walked up to the door where Emily started banging. An older man answered.
"I'm sorry, no refunds. You bought our trash so ya know." He said condescendingly.
"No that's not it. What the hell is this thing?" Rick asked, trying to sound authoritative in his girly soprano.
"What do you mean? It's a camera." He said, clearly clueless about it's power.
"We'd just like to ask where you got it from? Or who knows about it?" Emily asked.
He sighed, clearly frustrated to some degree. "Well you can talk to my mother about it. Follow me."
The man lead them through his house. It was nicer than they were expecting. There was a large dining room and kitchen with a cute dog lying in the middle. They walked upstairs to a side room where an old lady sat in the corner, seemingly failing at knitting. The man whispered to the two.
"Please try to be understanding, I think she's starting to lose it in her old age."
The two walked over with the man standing in the door way. The old woman looked over with sullen eyes that immediately perked up upon seeing the camera. She turned to the man and asked him something.
"Now, uh, son. Do you mind leaving me alone with these two kind young women?" She asked sweetly.
"But ma..." He started to say before the woman gave him a look. "Now Ben." She said angrily. He left, closing the door behind him. The old woman looked at the camera and almost started crying.
"Oh thank god, I thought he had given it away and I never would have seen it again." She said thankfully.
Emily and Rick looked at each other. "So do you know about it's weird side?" Rick pleaded.
The old woman looked shocked for a second but then calmed. "Ah, so I see you've used the camera of change yourselves huh?"
The two were ecstatic. "Yes! Yes oh thank God! It did nothing and this is my best friend Ricki." She said, suddenly pausing with confusion. Rick looked at her in shock and then looked at the old woman.
"What Emily meant to say is that I've always been a woman. No, I mean, I'm a girl. I am a girl!" Rick kept saying. He tried and tried but couldn't say any different.
"Don't strain yourselves." The old woman said. "Once the camera changes you, reality changes. Anyone who knows of the camera and is in a foot of the camera will remember the changes and be able to talk of the old reality but to everyone else, this is how it's always been. Since I wasn't there for your change, you can't tell me anything about your change, just as I cannot say anything about me."
The two were stunned. "Wait." Said Emily. "So you're someone else too?"
"Listen if I try to tell you, all I'll be able to say is that I'm Marion the 86 year old so I won't even bother. But yes." She sighed. "I messed around with that camera and changed my family around, until I accidentally did this." She said, gesturing to herself. "I was just gonna grab the camera once my "Son" was asleep but I passed out. I woke up at noon today to here that he had an early morning yard sale and had sold the device. Up until now, I thought I was screwed! But thank God you're here."
"So can you turn me back?" Rick asked hopeful.
"Unfortunately it's random." Marion said. "It can only give you a few randoms before it eventually will cycle back to your normal form. And if you change again after that it'll cycle through a whole new batch of changes. Your best bet is to try rapid fire but one mis-click and you can go past it or end up as someone or thing unable to use the camera. I was a little worried myself, but now there's three of us, so it shouldn't be too hard!"
Rick nodded and handed the camera to Emily. "It's up to you bestie. I mean bestie. I mea-"
"I got it Ricki. I gotcha." Emily said with a smile.
Rick walked over and knelt next to Marion.
"Right you two. This may get wild. Changes can be huge and reality will alter. We'll be the only ones to remember so hopefully this change will work." Marion said hopeful. "Also, the camera does have a tendency to disappear, so be careful!"
"Oh, now you tell me." Emily said, worried out of her mind.
Emily aimed and hit the button. The flash occurred and the photo rolled out. Emily suspenseful, held the photo until it developed a few seconds later. She saw their transformation.
