Now George was well aware of the rumours that the costumes this particular store sold were magical costumes that turned the wearer into the costumes depicted character,transported them to alternate realities,etc.
So no George wasn't going to jerk around by having either himself or Alice
risk life and limb by putting
on that
patched up dragon princess costume.
However it WAS fascinating costume to be sure and so George bought the moth eaten thing
well aware it had the potential to liven up his life
if he put it on.
So he took the dragon princess costume home and slid its box along the floor into his closet.
George needed something to dream about after all.
So he phoned up Alice and lied and told her all the Costume Stores were sold out
and the two of them would have to make do with cast off clothing from the thrift shop.
So the two of them went to the Party dressed as Dorothy and the Wizard
from The Wizard of Oz.
Alice made a great Dorothy but all the other guests turned away whenever George the 'Wizard" approached a group.
Things weren't helped any by Georges aching finger
which had a far too tight ring on the ring finger.
It seemed that with all the poking around George had done with the Dragon Claw Goves
he'd somehow stuck his ring finger into a ring that
had lain hidden and secret in the Dragon Claw Gloves.
Which meant George wasted no time excusing himself from Alice's company
so he could deal with his pained finger.
So George trotted towards the Mens bathroom just as the last guy exited it and reached out to enter.
"CLacKK" went the lock in the Mens Room doorlock as Georges hand with the annoying Ring
passed near it.
The door was locked on him.
So George backed away and
"CLACKK" the door unlocked on its own.
George was starting to get goosebumps and after a few tries he realized
the Ring had something against
Mens Rooms.
So desperately George headed for the Womans Restroom and as soon as he approached
all the ladies who had been inside it
emptied out and George had the Womans Restroom to himself.
George went inside and glowered
at the Ring that was impossible to slide off his aching finger.
By now George was beginning to realize this
Dragons Claw Glove Ring had the
'Power'
though George wasn't too sure what Power that was.
Then came the screams and sounds of gunfire from outside the Womens Restroom and....
