As Kellie, Katie, and Merlin were sitting down for dinner (one that would most certainly be mortifying if Merlin kept joking around) a portal began to open in the woods that Kellie herself had appeared in not too long ago. As a mighty wind roared and then died a college age blond woman now lay prone on the ground.
Groaning and holding her head, which was throbbing the woman now blinked rapidly trying to take in her surroundings. “Ugh I’d give my left tit for a bottle of Tylenol,” Claudia groaned. Slowly sitting up she now gazed at her surroundings. “Ugh I probably should of asked Katie how she does this before trying this out.”
Claudia had secretly taken Katie’s reality hopping spell out of the notebook she had in her room. Katie’s “speed book” ,for lack of a better term, was a recent addition to the girls lives. The girls had been practicing various spells with Merlin’s instructions and decided that if they were going to learn the magic properly they needed to write it down. Of course the girls had a laugh about it as they wrote it down, talks of a witches coven and a magic spell book had led to numerous corny jokes over the past few weeks. Regardless though the notebook was quite effective and was proving to be quite helpful to the girls.
“Huh,” she mused. “Katie and Kellie weren’t kidding this looks exactly like home. Pretty sure I’m in Settlers woods right now.” Slowly the blond girl got to her feet and began to walk towards the edge of the trees. As she gazed out at the town below her she smirked. “Yeah definitely Settlers Woods, which means I’ve got a hell of a walk.”
As Claudia set out she began to think of her reasons why she had wanted to come here. She had been annoyed that Katie and Kellie had kept this to themselves for so long. While Kellie had only recently discovered this, Katie had known for months now. Thinking back Claudia realized that she could probably pinpoint when Kellie had found out. One of the perks of living with a couple meant you could see when they were angry at one another. A few weeks ago Katie had spent a couple of nights on the couch. Claudia figured it was a simple lovers spat, despite not hearing the two argue. In retrospect it was probably because Kellie learned about this place.
“Well I could teleport to Katie s neighborhood but my head is killing me,” she thought. “Really don’t need to add to my headache. Still, can’t wait to meet these others us’s. Curious what things are like. I know we’re all 16 years old here, wonder what everyone else is like?”
That had been the thing that intrigued Claudia the most, she was curious what Katie’s home life was like, what her home life was like? Was Lisa and Kumiko younger too? What about her family? Would she be the oldest sibling if she ran into her family?
“This is going to be fun,” she smirked. “Only question now is, who do I visit first?”
