Katie anxiously approached Kellies home, after she had returned from the other timeline Merlin had whisked her upstairs to rest asking everyone to leave for now. That had been a couple hours ago. Now Katie hoped Kellie was well enough for visitors. Knocking on the door she awaited a response.
"Oh hello Katie," Merlin smiled. "Kellie is upstairs if you want to see her."
Katie thanked the wizard as she hurriedly made her way upstairs. Knocking on Kellies door she could hear the girl telling her to come in.
"Hey Kellie feeling better?"
Kellie looked up from her books, smiling at Katie. "Much better thanks," she grinned. "Cmon in its nice to get visitors."
Katie slowly approached watching her friend as she shifted the books that lay strewn across her bed. "So what are you reading," she asked.
"Well I'm trying to pin down whatever curse Morgan LeFay cast on my niece," Kellie said. "Unfortunately its proving to be kind of difficult. There are at least a dozen curses that mirror Glorias symptoms."
"I don't think I can ever get over the fact you have nieces in another timeline," Katie giggled.
Kellie smirked as she looked at her friend. Katie was quite cute, amd the fact the two were slowly becoming friends only intensified her feelings. Still, Katie knowing that she had at one point been an adult, even having nieces and a daughter, complicated the relationship.
"Guess I'm just complicated," she smirked. "Just hope it doesn't freak all of you out."
"No it doesn't," Katie answered solemnly. "I mean all of us are a bit complicated. Sammy got turned into a Samoan, Lisa has an adult twin thats pregnant. It kind of makes us all unique."
"You have a great way of explaining things Katie," Kellie said warmly as she gazed at the teen. Katie could only shrug, giving the girl a shy smile.
"I'm just glad your okay," she said quietly. "I was really worried about you after you came back from the other timeline."
Kellie thanked her friend sincerely, she appreciated the fact Katie cared about her that much, as she was about to say something Katie approached giving the girl a tight hug and a gentle peck on the lips.
"Ummm," Kellie stammered as she blushed crimson. The two teens bkushed crimson as they awkwardly looked at eachother. The sound of someone clearing their throat made both teens jumo in surprise.
"Hope I'm not interruptin anything," Merlin smirked impishly.
"No," Kellie exclaimed sarcastically. "Nothing at all, why dont you just...come in."
"If you insist."
Kellie sighed as Merlin entered the room, sitting in between Kellie and Katie. "I was being sarcastic Merlin," she groaned.
"I know," Merlin grinned. "I wanted to ask Katie if she would like to stay for dinner."
"Umm sure," Katie stammered. "If thats okay?"
"Not a problem at all," Merlin said happily. "Although it appears I need to have a talk with my daughter about the birds and the bees."
"Oh my god get out if my room DAD!!!"
Merlin and Katie giggled as Kellie blushed, furrowing her brow at her father. "Of course," he smirked. "Just remember this moment the next time you want to call me pops."
As Merlin left Katie giggled as Kellie now groaned in embarassment. Hopefully the two teens could build on their budding relationship.
