With a few swings of the watch Nicola was under James' spell and open to any suggestion he gave to her. He thought for a moment before speaking.
"You are no longer human Nicola, in fact you never were. You are now, and always have been, a rabbit and will only be able to act as such. However, your voice and personality will remain. Being a rabbit is now completely normal to you and you will never question this whatever anyone says to you. Do you understand?"
"Yes James" Nicola confirmed. James then put away the watch and snapped his fingers hopefully.
"Ugh what happened" Nicola looked around in confusion momentarily as she came out of her trance. She then dropped into a squatting position with her knees together and her hands resting on the filthy floor in front of her. She looked up angrily at James.
"Ah you ok Nicola?" he asked tentitively.
"Of course I'm not" she responded in her usual haughty tone, but with her nose twitching as she spoke "Why did you bring me to this grubby old warehouse?"
"Sorry, where do you want to go?" James asked whilst trying to hide his amusement.
"There were some nice gardens on the way here, maybe a few decent vegetable patches. I'm pretty hungry so I'd like to check them out. Come on"
"Fine" James agrees as his friend began jumping towards her destination.
"Hey, why are you hopping like that?" James asked with feigned ignorance.
"Because I'm a rabbit, duh!" Nicola replied tetchily as they made their way back to civilisation.
