Transformation successful! Target: Mike is no longer part of normal reality and is now compelled by a deeply rooted urge to transfer a characteristic he has onto someone near him thus making him lose that trait to the extent the other party gained it. Being outside of reality, changes he initiates go entirely unnoticed by all except for him. (Setting dictates User will notice changes though not to normal extent, extra-reality creatures are better at reweaving reality than Chronivacs and as such Users are only 20% likely to notice reality shifts.)
Swapaphiliacs generally stick to lots of small changes, the reasoning isn't entirely clear, but as they co-exist on a dimension best conceived as the flow of reality, causing disruptions would logically cause turbulence for themselves. To the converse of this is the fact that causing larger shifts in reality, seems to cause more pleasure for the subject through is met with more severe reactions.
Reactions have been noted to include headache, light sensitivity, auditory sensitivity, painful transformations, unconsciousness (in severe cases, lasting days), seizures, and most worrisome, desensitization to the negative effects of reality manipulation over time.
Jeff was trying to read what the Chronivac had to say but found himself agitated that he was missing the game. He turned the TV onto the game. Feeling like things were normal again, he ignored the game and breezed through the rest of the text. With the noise from the TV he wasn't able to concentrate and it was as good as not reading at all, Jeff couldn't bring himself to turn the game off though, and if asked he would say he was watching the game and be able to quote the score and describe the last play.
Downstairs, Mike watched the game avidly, Momentarily sated but feeling the urge rise within him again. Somehow he knew what he needed to do, and how to do it. The act of doing so filled him with an overwhelming sense of peace, he couldn't describe or justify it, adding little bits of chaos to the world made him feel good. He knew this was illogical and he should be panicking, but he felt so good.
Mike listened carefully trying to tune out the game. As Mike knew he would, he heard the echo of the game from Jeff's TV as Jeff took on the first of his fathers traits and began his journey of becoming a sports fan. Soon mike will turn Jeff into a full sports fan, or maybe make him an adult with a job, or maybe turn him into a father himself... Mike took a swig of his beer and simultaneously realized he had a monster erection that needed attention, and what a monster he would be if he stole his own sons youth... as he walked to the bathroom his hand slipped into his pocket.
