Jake decided to leave his parents as they were and go have some fun with this thing. He ran downstairs and out the door. He didn't stop running till he reached Marco's house. Marco Juarez was Jake's best friend. He had curly black hair, was taller than Jake, and had darker skin as his parents had come legally from Mexico.
Marco's house was always swarming with people so Jae came from the back door after texting Marco he was heading over. Marco let him in and they snuck up to his room.
"Okay man, what is this thing? what do you have to show me?" Marco asked.
Jake showed him the camera and told him the whole story with his parents.
"What?" He replied. "But I remember your parents. Your Mother was always Patty I know that for sure."
"No dude trust me it's this camera! It messes with reality. Here, I'll prove it!" Jake said.
As he fiddled with it to find the button he pushed, Jake accidentally hit "awareness off for camera user." Meaning hat unless he hit that button again, he would be unaware of any future changes. Jake found the button, turned it around, and took a selfie. Now neither boys would be aware of the change. Marco picked up the photo that developed and scoffed.
"See I knew it didn't work. It still shows...."
