Marco laughed as he handed the photo over. “Babe, I love you, but this “reality changing” stuff is just sci-fi garbage. You took a selfie and look, you are still....well....you.” He said with a shrug.
Jenny pouted unhappily. “But....I, like, could have sworn this thing caused changes to, like, my parents and stuff.” She grumbled. Fidgeting with her tube top , she sighed. “I guess you’re right, Markie.”
Marco grinned. “Even so, it’s still a cool looking camera. You said you bought it at the mall?”
“Yeah, it was some, like, really weird store that sold all sorts of stuff. Like, a pawnshop?” Jenny responded. “I knew you liked old stuff like this so I bought this thing.” She laughed and tossed her hair back, her brown, curly hair bouncing as she did. “I guess it was silly to think it was magic.”
Jenny was starting to get confused, even though outwardly she was still upbeat and perky. What her boyfriend said made sense, but she simply couldn’t shake this feeling in the back of her head that something had changed. And yet, searching her memories.....she couldn’t figure out what was causing it.
Marco grinned at her. “Even though it’s not magic, it’s still freaking cool. Why don’t we go try it out.....”
