The Magic Shop

A meeting between two worlds

added by O 4 years ago O

Just as Samantha and Teen Sammy were getting to know each other, Mike came rushing into the bedroom. “Mike,” Samantha said, frowning at her fiancé. “What gives? Trying to have some girl talk here.”

“Um babe,” he said, rubbing his neck. “We, um, have company.”

Confused the two Samantha’s now stood as they followed Mike into the living room. As they peaked around the corner, the adult Samantha groaned. “Seriously you guys?!”

Katie blushed as she looked at her friend. “Um I can explain,” she blushed. Samantha frowned as she gazed at the large group of college students that now occupied her living room. “Katie how did you even get everyone here?”

“Well,” Katie started, still blushing. “Claudia told Mika about her trip and she wanted to come. Then Mary Elise told Sebastian, who told Shiro, who told Jen, who then told Ashley, who asked me about taking us here. So....um...here we are.”

Although Katie now tried to force a smile,Samantha could tell she felt embarrassed about dropping in unannounced. Samantha had asked her that she get an opportunity to meet the others without everyone dropping by her home. Unfortunately it seemed Katie had caved in to some peer pressure from everyone else that they knew.

“Okay so who talked Katie into making this trip,” Samantha asked, folding her arms. Slowly she watched as everyone raised their hands, sheepishly smiling at Samantha.

“Cmon Sammy,” Mika pleaded. “We just wanted to meet them too you know, besides we haven’t had a chance to all be together in a month. Why not have an impromptu reunion of sorts.”

“Ugh fine,” Samantha groaned. “Just try not to make too big a mess. Me and Mike just finished cleaning.”

Smiling happily the large group now approached the group of bewildered teens. “Wow Claud you weren’t kidding,” Mika stated in awe. “They look exactly like us.” Claudia nodded as she now tried to find her own doppelgänger. “Told you Mika,” she said. “Now can someone show me the other Claudia, really want to meet her.”

Teen Claudia now tried her best to hide behind her friends. She had wanted to make this trip with her friends but she wasn’t expecting to suddenly be the center of attention. As the timid teen now tried to hide behind her friends, she pleading looked at Kellie. “Okay everyone hold on a sec,” she exclaimed. “I really need to talk with Katie for a minute.”

“Uh oh Kat your mom looks pissed,” Jennifer joked.

Kellies eyes flashed red as she stared at her daughter. “You. Me. Other room. NOW!”

Katie lowered her head as she now trudged behind her teenage mother. When the two were out of earshot Kellie angrily glared at her. “How could you let them talk you into coming here,” she yelled. “And you told them I’m your mom!”

“Actually you let that one slip yourself,” Katie answered, frowning. “I mean, Claudia knows, Mary Elise knows, Kellie knows so it was only a matter of time before everyone else found out.” Kellie groaned, she had let that secret out on a couple of occasions already, not to her friends but to her daughters. Now she dreaded the conversation she would have to have when they returned to their own timeline.

“Ugh,” she groaned. “Fine Your right, still Ashley and Jennifer?! How did they end up becoming friends of yours? And Shiro! He’s a friend of yours too?”

“Things have changed for me mom,” she laughed. “A lot of people I never would of thought of have become really good friends of mine. Even Ashley and Jennifer.”

Kellie sighed, whiLe she had wanted to have a quiet introduction of her friends to Katie’s, she should of expected that it wouldn’t go quietly. “Okay,” she smirked. “Well as awkward as this is I am glad to see you again. Still, give me a heads up next time. Mika May take acception to what Mary Elise did when Claudia visited. Plus I’m worried your Claudia may be a bit much for my Claudia.”

“Sounds like a good idea mom,” Kellie said. “By the way how are you feeling? Your not fading away yet are you?”

“Actually I feel okay so far,” Kellie said happily. “I’m not as tired as I was the last time I visited so I think I have some time. Oh and can you just stick with Kellie for now? Really don’t want to weird out my friends.”

Katie smiled as she placed an arm around her teenage mom. “Whatever you say Kellie,” she smiled. “Now, let’s go start the introductions. Really looking forward to seeing how everyone gets along.”
