Jerri picked up the dice and rolled them in her hands for a moment. They weren't even half-way from the end of the game and already so much had happened. Joy was 6 inches tall, Diane was a pastry, and Cyndi was all breast. She shook the dice and threw them forward. They combined for eight and her piece moved forward on its own, nearly knocking Joy over in the process. Her piece stopped at a red square and she gulped for a moment before she grabbed a card.
"Prepare for a game of catch and chase. Only those unaffected will take place."
Susan looked over to Jerri. "What does that mean?"
Jerri shrugged. "Catch and chase? Only unaffected?"
Immediately Jerri felt a knot rise in her stomach. She looked up to see Susan clutching her head. "Susan? Are you growing fur?"
Susan looked up. "Jerri... are you shrinking?"
Indeed both girls were being affected by the cards. Susan's hands seemed to shrink as claws shot out of her knuckles. She felt a pain in her lower back and soon a tail shot from it. She continued to shrink as her ears pointed and her nose scrunched up. Her eyes seemed to split as she began to get covered in her clothes. She soon could no longer see the top of the table. Joy had run over to the edge and begun to peer down at her. In front of her she could see a pile of clothes that had belonged to Jerri. Instead of Jerri though, a small mouse crawled out.
"A game of catch and chase... cat and mouse?" Diane said from the edge of her seat. "Only those unaffected." Jerri and Susan had been the only two normal people. But that last card she had pulled confused her. Sue still didn't have any ill affects from the last card.
Susan stared at Jerri for a moment. It was almost as if an unsatiable urge was rising within her. She pounced at Jerri, who darted in her clothes to escape from her. Jerri ran around the room and eventually under a sofa to escape from Susan, who instinctively chased at her.
"Cyndi, quick, roll the dice. You are the only one who can right now!" Joy yelled at her. Cyndi manuevered herself to pick up the dice as Susan clawed at Jerri.
