Katie suddenly thought of something real important when she saw her mother. Something about the ring that she had half forgotten but now remembered.
She took a moment to consult with the Ring if it was true and possible. While the Ring wasn't sentient, it was like a computer in a some ways.
"Huh." Katie thought about it for a moment and came up with an interesting idea. But the other girls might not want to even think about it if the effects are permanent.
"Girls, I think I might be able to have us younger than six without us forgetting everything forever." Katie had done a small girl group huddle.
"What, but when I was five I felt everything start to fade away." Mary Elise said quickly.
"If I concentrate on us not keeping our minds but rather have them come back when we become old enough, that keeps everything safe. We will really be that age until we get old enough again."
"But will we remember being that age." Mika asked quietly.
"Depends on how young one of us becomes. At a certain age, you won't remember much of anything afterwards. But we really need to test this. . ."
