Ben began to shiver, his head first and then his torso. The shivering began and continued in pulsing waves, this causing for Ben his spine to feeling changing, it growing larger, gaining body length. His body fur grew denser, a shaggy caramel color what reminded him of a photo he had seen in the family album.
Again he sauntered from his bedroom to the hallway, and needing to use the hall walls to lean at to hold himself precariously in balance while standing upright. His thickening fur over his shoulders worked to ease as smooth the not so smooth painted wall, giving him courage to try and walk still as upright on two legs. To the living room he ventured and there the several photo albums filled with pictures of the family, some dating back three generations.
As furry hands with by then fingernails becoming as solid hoof like, blunt cubes; Ben reached for album one, as this had photos of his grandfather when he lived in Scotland. His fingers worked well enough to grab hold the thick album from off the shelf, but his carrying it to the dining room table to use to look then for that one picture he recalled, he fumbled and nearly dropped it twice.
At first he dropped the weighty thick album onto the cherry wood table. Ben then from repeated actions drew back a dining room chair to sit on while he would look for that remembered photo. As he went to take a seat, and sat, he discovered then he had grown a bony tail, it too, covered with thick caramel colored fur.
A real sense of urgency took Ben to grab at and let his new tail bend and be snaked off to one side of the decorative chair. As he opened the album he was hit by another head and body wave of shivering, and felt his rump and thighs begin to change.
Flipping the thick card stock pages of the photo album, Ben's hoofed fingers tore at the clear plastic covering the pages of photos.
Then he saw it, his grandfather, he standing proudly there in the photo, as owned then a farm in Scotland. Beside grandfather stood a large and shaggy Bull, it of the Highlands breed. A caption written below the photo read as, "Grand Dad with Ben the herd sire Bull!"
The caption got Ben to wondering if the computer program had gathered their family history and found then this photo his mom had placed on Facebook as part of the family history. This inkling had Ben considering his shaggy as caramel colored furry bullish self as becoming a Highland breed bull. Even as he sat eyeing the photo of the grown bull, Ben began to feel a sense of relationship toward the bull, as if it were more a distant relative.
It happened about then as he was sitting that his legs were hit by a massive bunching of leg cramps. His first as dire thought was to stand up, but in trying, he fell forward, landing on his hands and with his rump as held higher in the air. As with his tail swinging, swatting at his changing flanks, Ben in pain gawked at his legs, the muscles changing, looking more like bovine thighs. He looked at his feet, seeing he was standing on cloven hoofs, his feet having narrowed but grown longer, his heels becoming as hocks on his changing hind legs.
Ben stood there enduring the leg cramp pain for several minutes. He felt a difference along his lower belly and was amazed to note that his penis sheath had moved, working its way toward where a proper bovine body sheath would set and allow the penis to protrude for use when mating with cows. The sight and seeming understanding more about his changing self had him assured his body changes might well be as permanent!
