(Sorry, more exposition.)
“Perhaps, they need a better visual,” Grant suggested. “Shall we bring her out?”
The man in the suit nodded before saying something into his cuff. A moment later, a young woman wearing a hospital gown emerged from the erected lab and strode onto the stage. Electrodes and tubes stuck out all over her flawless skin. Immediately, the crowd drew back. Her eye-popping breasts, her glorious figure, all the details of her body identified her as one of the very creatures they had been hiding from all this time. On the other hand, her lovely face held the uncharacteristic look of intelligence.
“Allow me to introduce one of our earliest civilian subjects, Amy,” Dr. Grant announced before addressing her. “If you don’t mind, my dear, I’d like your help in explaining the benefits you enjoy as one of our treated agents.”
Amy smirked. “Trying to sell bimbo-ism to the masses again, doctor?”
Grant chuckled. “You know very well that you are far from a bimbo. Shall we begin?”
She nodded. Shrugging off her gown, she revealed a kind of one-piece garment that resembled a swimsuit. Wires ran over its surface, connecting to some of the electrodes dotting her limbs. Like a model showing off the latest fashions, she playfully strutted around, turning and posing while the scientist continued. Despite the fear still present in the people’s eyes, the spectacle still had the desired effect as a few of the men shifted uncomfortably, hoping nobody looked too closely at their pants.
“Amy here was just like you a few months ago, a scared, helpless individual running from the hordes, waiting for her body and identity to be ripped from her at any moment.”
“Geez, a bit dramatic?” Amy giggled. “But not too far off. The CDC found me hiding in a cabin. My arm was broken, and I didn’t really have much hope for survival on my own. After rescuing me, they offered the serum and explained the situation. I accepted and started field work soon after. Right now, I’m traveling with the lab because all volunteers are required to take periodic breaks from our missions to help make more serum. In another day, though, I’ll be back in the city keeping those bimbos busy and making the rest of the world safer.”
“And humanity is grateful for your service,” Grant said to her before looking back at his audience. “As you can see, she is perfectly healthy, better than healthy. Most normal diseases no longer affect her, and all non-fatal injuries heal at an accelerated rate. Her shattered arm is fully recovered with no scarring or weakness. Signs of aging are reversed, leaving her permanently in the range of late teens to early twenties physically. Any allergies or bodily defects have been cleared away, and she has greater reflexes, strength-”
“Don’t forget a killer body,” Amy smiled.
Grant coughed. “Yes, that’s true. But note that she is no more obsessed with sex than any of you.”
“Well, maybe a little more,” Amy admitted. “This body has needs, too, you know. But it feels amazing! Much better than anything I ever felt before.”
By now, Dr. Grant had turned deep red, but he plowed on. “But best of all, she is totally immune. No more fear. No more hiding behind makeshift walls. No more relying on dwindling supplies. You will be free from all that. So, again I ask you. Any takers?”
