Not bothering to knock Joanie opens the office door in time to find not Mrs. Wilson but her son Jack. It takes her only a quick glance to see what is going on. The open purse and wad of money in the hand of the young man bringing a grimace to her face. She had once employed Jack at the kennel after weeks of his mother begging and talking about what a good worker her son was. But when Jack did bother showing up for work he was either stealing or being mean to the dogs. Even the customers where not safe as many a client complained about the rudeness of the young man.
All ready thinking the human before her would serve the world better as a dog Joanie hesitates starting the transformation. What if this is not what it looks like to her eyes? Could the worthless son have been given an ok to help himself to his mother’s money? And what happened to her employee Mrs. Wilson as she has all ready taken both her smoke break and lunch break.
“Hello Jack.”
Jumping in surprise Jack drops the purse spilling its contents across the office desk. Fist full of money quickly disappearing into his pants pocket.
