It only took a few minutes to find it.
Jared almost couldn't beleive her eyes. The medallion glinted in the late afternoon sun as she coaxed it out of the soft earth. Her return to Jared was close, only moments away.
That's when she realized that there was no sock there. None. It was gone.
She sighed deeply, but wasn't yet detered. She couldn't be Jared right away again. She just needed to find some piece of her old clothes somewhere. Even after a year, she was sure her parents still must have something. She just had to get into the house to find something.
She could't do it like this, though. She needed to find some other form, something that wouldnt' arouse any eyebrows but would allow her to sneak into the house.
She looked at the old shack, where this adventure had really started. There were always cast off things in there, maybe she could find something that could help.
