“Good job, Julia. Picking up those scales was a good idea,” David said.
He walked outside the school building, still holding the bottle with the mixture in his hands.
“Me? You showed me the scales in the first place! And by the way, we couldn't predict that was going to happen,” Julia said, kicking an empty can.
David sighed.
“Yeah. But now 'Mister Old Man' will make us pay for that. So...” he said, giving Julia the mixture, “...you will examine this stuff and prove that we did everything correctly.”
Julia took the mixture and sighed.
“Alright. But next time....do your own homework,” she said sarcastically.
David snorted and then angrily walked away.
