Julia took out her cell phone. She composed a number, then pushed the call button. A few seconds later, someone answered the phone.
“Hello?” David said groggily.
Julia thought that he had probably been sleeping a few seconds before she called.
“Hey, David. It's me. Listen, I discovered the problem with the mixture,” Julia said. Her voice sounded an octave deeper and she couldn't help hissing a little.
“You could have waited until tomorrow. And what's wrong with your voice?” David asked, feeling awake all of sudden.
Julia smiled.
“It's something very important. Don't worry. Don't come here. I will meet you somewhere. And maybe...we can have a drink,” the dragon said, looking at the miraculous mixture in her claws.
