A few hours later, Julia woke up.
At first she thought that everything had just been a dream. But when she saw her scaly hand in front of her new dragon snout, she realized that the transformation was real.
She stood up, noticing that she could move her body in a very natural way, just as if she had been a dragon her whole life. And in that moment she really asked herself: have I really been a dragon all my life?
Julia thought that her brain must have been changed, allowing the knowledge of how to operate her new body to be inserted into her memories.
She looked around, noticing how the world looked more colorful, probably because of her new eyes. Her perception of the world changed, too. Everything around her - things that she once thought indispensable - suddenly looked ...useless. They were things that she didn't need anymore. The idea scared her a little...
