Now that Great Uncle Otis Farnsworth that Julia had mentioned to her nasty chemistry teacher had really existed and after he'd died he'd left Farnsworth Hall, his 'house'
to Julia's mom, some great niece of the older geezer.
Farnsworth Hall had many things, including a long unused laboratory and workshop where
Otis Farnsworth had whiled away his time after he'd concocted Farnsworth 133,a chemical that temporarily allowed people to take on new physical and biological characteristics from animal and human tissue.
In Otis's day the chemical had been added to perfume recipes and skin care creams as a beauty enhancer,
Clearly the mixture Julia had just drank had contained some kind of souped up Farnsworth 133 that had reacted with the scales to turn Julia somewhat into a dragon.
The stuff was approved for rubbing or spraying on the skin,NOT ingesting.
And now Julia knew what happened when you drank Farnsworth 133,you got a LOT more than a beauty makeover.
So Julia quietly tiptoed down the old stone steps into the ancient caverns below Farnsworth Hall and went into the laboratory and spent the next few hours reading Otis's notebooks on Farnsworth 133 and the counter agent for it.
Lukewarm salty milk with a egg in it.Drank down at the Midnight Hour at 12 strokes.
So Jula got the necessary ingredients, fired up the dusty old lab's equipment and after a little testing on rats she caught squeaking and scurrying about, had the
anti-mixture ready to restore her to her human shape.
