"What does this thing do?" the boy asked, after attempting to turn it on.
"It won't do anything unless you're thinking the right thoughts, " the old man said with amusement, a wry grin on his face.
"The right thoughts?" the boy asked.
"Yes. You see, this device grants wishes. The only drawback is that regardless of the wish, the final product has to comply with most laws of physics. I've not been able to find a way around that just yet."
"How do I use it?" the boy asked, completely sure his wish would work perfectly.
"Just picture what you want most, turn it on, and press the 'A' button, " said the old man.
