"How come nothing happened?" asked the tiny dragon.
The old man picked up the device and said, "I don't know. Maybe you don't actually want to change back. Heh..."
"Well I like him like this."
Shelly hugged him again.
"So, how do we leave?" she asked, pointing to where the door had been.
"Right though here of course!" the wizard said, pointing at the opposite wall, where there was a new door.
"But - how?" Shelly asked.
But the old man simply smiled. Shelly opened it and walked into the mall with the tiny dragon on her shoulder. She noticed shortly after the she was in a different place in the mall, and near the exit. She looked behind her, where the door had been, but saw nothing. It was like the door had never been there and she was standing in the middle of the hall.
"Well, that was weird," Shelly said to her tiny dragon.
"You think it was weird for you!? Look at me!" the tiny little creature said.
"Yeah, but now you're so cute! Stop complaining!" Shelly chuckled, as she literally shoved him into her purse.
"Easy for you to say. What am I gonna tell my parents and friends and stuff?" the dragon asked.
