"I'm not eating those," the little dragon said to Shelly, once again.
"You think you have a choice? What else am I gonna feed you?" she asked him.
"Uh, people food? Hamburgers, steak... hell, even salad or something!?" he yelled at her.
"You're stupid. You aren't supposed to feed pets food like that," she said.
"I'm a person, dammit!" he said, pouting, yet still snuggling her shoulder.
"Not any more, you aren't. You're my little dragon. And I wuvs you," she said, petting him once again.
He tried to resist, but he couldn't help purring in reply.
"But I'm not eating those."
"We'll see, we'll see," Shelly said.
She walked out of the shop with the dragon on her shoulder and the box with the mice in her hands, completely ignoring any odd looks she got from random people on the way home.
