Martin just wanted some shoes. That was it, shoes! Air Jordans... whatever that meant, Colin wasn't an expert on shoes... but shoes! This would be so easy! And there they where, fitting the description to a T! Out in the open! With... absolutely no one.... in... the shoe store...
Colin taked to himself, putting this into the perspective of everything else he went through:
"It's too easy. There's gotta be some kind of... security?"
Colin noticed some chihuahuas growling at him and laughed.
"Wow, those are some scary guard dogs." he said sarcastically... right as the jumped on his and started to bite rappidly.
"OW! HEY! CUT IT OUT! GET OFF ME!" Colin yelled as the tiny dogs chewed on his arms and legs.
"Hey there little taquitos." a voice said from behind. The dogs stopped biting and ran over to a teenager in a uniform. His name tag read "Otto".
"Hey dude." Otto said.
Colin put on a smile and said "Hi there.... Otto. I was just walking on by and I couldn't help but notice you had some awesome shoes, the best shoes in the universe, and I was wondering..."
"Go ahead and take'em." Otto said.
"Really?" Colin asked.
Otto smiled and replied "Sure, I own this place now. Just grab your new kicks and..."
"THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!" Colin cheered as he put Otto in a crushing hug.
Colin's smile reached ear to ear as he ran for the Air Jordan's... finally! Something eas-
"Woah woah woah! Hold your horses there, compadre!" Otto interrupted as he blocked Colin's path.
"You said I could have the shoes!" Colin yelled.
"... after you complete a challenge. I was trying to tell you to bring'em over and accept your challenge." Otto explained.
The mark and bruise covered gamer sighed and brought the Air Jordans over.
"Ah, I see... the Air Jordans, excellent choice. Nothin' like a game of b-ball!" Otto said.
"Yeaaaah... B-balllll...." Colin said with an awkward smile.
"Basketball." Otto replied.
"Duhhh, I knew that." Colin said with less than stellar confidence.
And so they went to the court. The ball bounding against the wood pannel floor as Otto dribbled it between his legs.
"Ready?" Otto asked.
'Okay, I've never won any kind of sports game in my life... but to not be a bimbo's fucktoy and win Martin's sneakers, this'll be the first.' Colin thought as he said "Ready."
