Joanna realized she was late for work. Tucking the vial in her purse, she rushed toward her job, thankful she had chosen to wear sneakers. It was a cool fall day and the park near her work was full of orange, yellow, and brown leaves. In her haste, Joanna slipped on some wet leaves on the sidewalk. The good news was she fell on the grass. The bad news was she landed on her purse. A quick check revealed no broken bones or scrapes. Then she turned her purse. Had she crushed her brand new iPhone? She opened her purse and reached in then just quickly pulled her hand back out, cursing under her breath. A tiny piece of glass was stick in her finger and she had green liquid all over her hand. A second more careful look revealed the cause: the vial had broken in the fall and now the contents of her purse were covered in green liquid and tiny shards of broken glass. Gross! She pulled the small piece of glass out of her finger and sucked on her finger for a moment to make sure she didn't bleed everywhere. The green liquid had a strange, unfamiliar taste. Just what was a vial labeled "naga scales" supposed to do anyway?
