The dice come up 3, and Alex gives a pained yelp, scrambling to free his new tail from the confines of his jeans. Meanwhile, Mark draws a Time card, apparently not bothered by her and Cathy dropping to eight.
"Time to make a choice." She reads, in high, cheerful voice that bares little resemblance to how she sounded when reading her last card. "Put on your big girl diapers and double your age, or stay in pre-school panties and halve it?" She thinks about it, but only for a moment. "Pre-schoolers have fun, but big girls have more fun, so diapers it is!"
Alex, Megan and Stella look shocked at this seemingly casual decision, while Cathy giggles happily. Moments later, she and Mark rapidly begin to grow up (and out) as they age to 16, jeans budging with the new padding they now barely cover. Mark immediately cuddles amorously into Cathy, making it clear what she meant by "more fun". Cathy returns the embrace eagerly, and if either of the pair are bothered by their new undergarments, they don't show it. Indeed, the look they give each other when a shift of position has their padded hips rub against each other has Alex wondering if he should cover Megan's eyes. Or his own.
Fortunately, before things go too far, Cathy pulls away and collects the dice for her turn. And luckily for Alex, they don't come up odds. In fact, they show a pair of threes, six, causing the catboy to increase in age to eleven, sighing in relief. The now fifteen (again) Cathy meanwhile, draws another Time card, and reads it aloud cheerily.
"Double result, double your time, double your fun. From now on, any time a player rolls a double, all age changes are doubled until their next turn. This effect can be doubled up."
The results are immediate, with Alex becoming twelve and Mark and Cathy becoming fourteen. Cathy looks briefly put out as she sits back in her seat, though it's not clear if this is at the card, or the fact that losing two years seems to have cooled her and Mark's passion a bit. Alex eyes the dice reluctantly for a long moment, then picks them up and rolls, dropping back down to ten in the process.
