The girl looked at Luke, adjusting the pair of glasses on her face before giving him a shocked look. She seemed to be around Luke’s age, and pretty average looking. She looked down to see what Luke had already figured out, that they were now two halves of one body. She looked between their body and Luke before yelling
“Who are you, and why are we stuck together?!” Luke tired to pull back a bit, with no success before looking at his body mate.
“I’m Luke, and I’m not sure you’ll believe me. But could we try to sit up at least?” The girl was about to say something before nodding. It would be difficult. Each person only had control of their half of their now shared body.
The odd pair, with some difficulty, managed to get themselves sitting upright, and could really see themselves for the first time. They seem to be split right down the middle. Luke’s side had his muscle, while the girl’s had her figure. There cloths even seemed split. On Luke’s side was his football t-shirt and jeans, and on his body mate’s side was her tank top with a sci-fi image on it and a jean skirt. Each even had there own shoe and sock. The girl then eyed Luke.
“Ok! What happened?”
“Shouldn’t I know who you are first?”
“Name’s Alex. Now what happened?!” Luke looked nervous, gulping. She’d never believe what he had to say.
“I... um... I had a mall Santa grant a wish for me and gave me a closet full of suits, including a conjoined twin costum. So I put it on alone and just passed out. Next thing I knew I was attached to you.” Alex just gave him a crossed look.
“Do you honestly expect me to believe that?!” The anger in her voice just seemed to rial Luke up as he raised his voice.
“Well how else do you explain this?! Aliens? Teleporter accident?! This isn’t one of your nerd movies.” Alex gave her new partner a glare as she went to slap him with her hand.
“No! And just because I like sci-fi doesn’t make me a nerd you stupid jock!” Like then gave back his own glare blocking her slap with his arm.
“Hey! I’m not a stupid jock! And you still haven’t told me how you can explain this!”
“I don’t know! But a costume you put on by yourself?! Really?!” Luke continued to give an angry look.
“Yes really!” He then angrily looked away. “And if I had known I’d be stuck to some stranger I wouldn’t have put it on!” Alex let out a quiet scream before looking away.
“Yeah, cause you’re life is the only one that’s ruined by this! If anything, it’s all your fault both our lives are ruined!”
“What did you just say?”
“You heard me!”
