"Come on Cal, keep up, we want to see the horses already!" A woman with brown hair and with her eyes covered with sunglasses said as she called back to her friend, the only male of the group, who had short black hair and was falling behind the three girls. "You don't want all the horses to be gone do you?"
"I'm sure they won't run out Mary," a blonde said with a chuckle as she patted her friend lightly on the shoulder. "Why are you so excited anyway? It's not like horses are that special of animals, we're doing this because you wanted to see them you know."
"I've, never really seen a horse before," Mary admitted as she looked a little sheepish. "I've always been a city girl and I've never really had a chance to get close to one even though I've always loved them. So, I guess I wanted to check them out and go riding, you know? We can go see other animals after, I promise Lindsey."
"Oh fine," the blonde said with a slight roll of her eyes. She had grown up on a farm and she figured that she had seen enough horses, but she might as well humor her friend.
"Do you have to walk so fast?" Cal asked as he finally caught up to them. The black-haired young man was carrying some bags that the women had bought from the gift shop. "Sam, help me out here."
"Come on Calvin," Sam said with a chuckle as she took one of the bags. She was a pretty fit looking redhead who chuckled a little at their friend. "We're almost there."
"What if the horses are too wild?" Cal asked as they walked into the stables just as a female attendant was leading a mare and a stallion into their stalls. "I mean look at that stallion, he looks like he could buck me off and kill me."
"Calm down Cal, the information said that guests are allowed to take the horses out, why would they do that if they were wild?" Lindsey pointed out with a chuckle.
The female attendant eyed the four friends and smiled a little. Four more soon to be horses had just walked in. The male of the group wasn't much to look at, but she could only imagine the mighty stallion he would soon become and mate with the transformed mares. Or perhaps she'd make him a mare and figure out what to do with the women, she had options.
She looked over the rows of horses. Maybe it would be more fun to let them choose, after all, that would show their true selves to her, and show what kind of horses she'd have in her Stables.
"Hello," she said as she walked over to the college students. "Welcome to the Stables, are you interested in taking our lovely horses out for a ride?"
"Yes, please!" Mary said excitedly as she nodded. "I mean if that's okay."
"Of course it is," the attendant said with a smile as she looked around. "So, here we like to think that the horses pick their riders. We have quite a nice selection here. Would you prefer mares or stallions to ride with?"
