April focused her thoughts on what she wanted to change about Garrett. It would be big...and so would he, by the end.
Garrett soon came back from his walk and went to his room. He sat there, trying to make sense of what April had done.
Suddenly, his muscles all tensed up at once. He couldn't move or speak. Scared, he wondered what April was doing now.
Everywhere, he began to grow. His thighs stretched his pants, his biceps fought to break free of his sleeves, and his pecs mounded up until he could hardly see past them. A wall of 8-pack abs formed on his gut. His shirt and pants soon lay in tatters on the floor.
When it was over, not only was Garrett very muscular, but he had grown to about 6'0 tall, and aged to about 13. He looked around the room, spying a weight set in the corner. He also saw a shelf full of trophies and awards from junior bodybuilding. News clippings revealed that he had been working out since he was 7 and competing since he was 10. He was by far the strongest boy in junior high, weighing 220 pounds.
Garrett's mind adjusted to this new reality, as did his wardrobe, which was now a tank top showing his massive pecs and biceps and tight workout shorts. He remembered he had a competition in an hour.
"April!" he yelled in his lower voice. "I need a ride to my bodybuilding competition!"
"Be right there!" she replied, smiling.
Soon they were off to the competition, where Garrett easily beat everyone in his age group, and would have beat older guys if he and they had been in the same group. On the way out, a couple girls handed him slips of paper with their numbers on them, giggling as they walked away.
April smiled again. It felt good being nice and seeing Garrett so happy. She decided to do it more often.
