As Ty stepped outside, he saw the boy next door, Finn. He was 11 years old, thin, with light blond hair. He was sitting on the porch with a glum look on his face, chin in his hands.
"What's wrong, bud?" Ty asked, walking towards the boy.
Finn looked up. "Oh, hey, Ty," he sighed. "I'm being babysat again today by Grace. I've had a crush on her for 2 years, and I just asked her out on a date, but she said no. She said it'd be creepy since I'm 11 and she's 16. She doesn't seem to care," Finn choked out, holding back tears.
"Well," said Ty, "I see a very obvious solution to your problem. You have to be older than her, though not a lot or it'll still be creepy."
"But how?" Finn wondered. "I've never heard of anyone aging that quickly."
"Lucky for you, I can do that for you, plus a couple enhancements to make you irresistable to Grace," Ty said. He closed his eyes and wished for Finn to become 17.
Finn gasped as he felt his body stretch upward, growing taller. His Adam's apple enlarged, deepening his voice, and some body hair appeared in certain areas, but other than that...
"This won't work. I'm 17, but I'm still an average wimp."
"Remember those enhancements I mentioned?" Ty replied.
Finn doubled over in pain as his muscles began to swell enormously, destroying his clothes. He grimaced as his face shifted, molding itself into perfection. His skin darkened with a perfect tan while his teeth became straight and blindingly white.
Finn was now 17, 6'5", 250 pounds of pure muscle, and the youngest ever Sexiest Man Alive (in this new reality, he was selected at age 14 for the honor).
"Wow! Thanks, Ty!" he cried. Ty smiled and wished for stylish clothes that fit Finn, which now appeared.
Grace came outside. "Hey, stud," she said, planting a kiss on his cheek and leading hm inside.
"Oh, yeah," Finn grinned. This was going to be amazing.
