“Thank you so much, Jake!” Ty whispered to him.
Ty stepped back and examined his friend.
“I wish Jake were suspended right now…” Ty wished silently.
Suddenly, Jake froze. He didn’t move at all. His eyes, his mouth, his heartbeat, and even his breathing stopped. He was completely suspended in time, just as Ty wished.
“This is so cool. I can do whatever I want! Now… let’s see… He plays soccer… How can I help him? I can muscle him up a little bit.” Ty said to himself, as he walked around his best friend, who was standing frozen in his living room.
Ty walked around to Jake’s back, and observed his calves and thighs.
“Well, he’s going to soccer practice after this, so I might as well help him out. After all, he did remember my birthday!” Ty smiled. “I wish Jake’s legs gained about twenty pounds of muscle right now!”
Just as Ty wished, Jake’s calves immediately began to push out as they swelled due to the increased muscle. They grew bigger and bigger, almost becoming a little on the big side of a teen. His thighs swelled as well, growing thicker and wider at the same time, as layers of muscle formed all around his existing muscles. Jake’s legs were now almost twice as thick as before, with thin red lines forming all across his calves and thighs while these muscles continued to inflate.
“Ahh… He’s growing veins! That’s so cool! His legs are really thick now, bulging with muscle!” Ty chuckled, as he walked over to Jake’s front. “Okay, Jake! I wish you to unfreeze now!”
Jake blinked, as he moved his eyes and head. When he stepped forward, he almost stumbled but caught himself from falling.
“Hey, Ty… Whoa! What’s with my legs?” Jake gasped, as he looked down at his enormously muscular legs.
“What about your legs?” Ty laughed.
“I dunno…. My legs just feel kinda… heavy…” Jake said.
“Stronger, perhaps?”
“Uhh… Yeah… Definitely stronger!” Jake replied. “Hey Ty, I gotta go to practice. But I’ll catch you in school tomorrow, okay?”
“Sure, dude! Thanks for the card!”
Ty let Jake out, as both boys each enjoyed another slice of pizza. Ty then put the pizza away, before putting on his tennis shoes, shorts and a t-shirt. Jake walked off to the soccer field, as Ty decided to walk around the neighborhood, the school and the large park and recreation center, where there were plenty of people who were doing things outside since it was such a nice sunny day that day.
Now that Ty had the power to change anything and anyone he wanted, he decided to put that power to use as he walked around the neighborhood. After all, Dustin and his parents would be gone for the rest of the day, so Ty had all afternoon to have fun with his powers.
