The carnage was unspeakable. I watched in pale horror as the eight foot werewolf killed a man. She slammed her teeth closed on his neck and I heard a sickening pop as his screams gave way to a gurgle and then silenced. With all the voracity of a starving predator, the wolf raked her claws over his chest and exposed raw meat. She tucked in, crunching and slurping down his flesh and organs, tearing apart his body, the man's dead expression locked into shock. She threw her neck back and rended whole slabs of raw meat down her throat, crunching her jaws.
I simply stared, too dumbfounded to move, as 'Fang' devoured the man and stripped his torso down to the bone, hungrily gulping and chewing every piece of red gore down. The front of her golden fur was now caked in bloody crimson. I tried to look away, but I couldn't.
Almost in tears, I looked down at the ring and closed my eyes. "I wish this had never happened. Please."
I opened my eyes and screamed as the hulking werewolf stood inches from my face, her muzzle nearly touching me. She was staring at me with hunger, drooling. "No food here." The wolf growled.
"I wish Fang would change back into Cathy." I said quickly.
Instantly, the werewolf began to deflate, raising her muzzle up and crying out as she began to shrink back into Cathy the human. Halfway restored, the wolf reasserted itself and swiftly grew back into form.
"No!" I cried. "No!"
"NOT! GOING! BACK!" Fang snarled, pushing on my chest and knocking me over.
I briefly glanced back to the sight of the ripped apart body and breathed a sigh of relief as I saw nothing.
"I wish for Cathy back." I tried again, the wolf towering over me menacingly as for a second time she began to shrink down. This time, the wolf cried out and this gave way to a human voice as Cathy grabbed her control back, forcing the werewolf back inside whatever box was deep inside the human.
"JAMES!" Cathy screamed, hysterical. "ARE YOU OKAY?!"
"Yes, I'm..." I started, but Cathy threw herself at me and began sobbing.
"James, you have to help me! She's..." I gasped as I felt the growth surge again. "She's trying to take over... I've never..."
"I wish for Cathy back!" I said desperately.
