Tim was beyond confused. He was wearing a long yellow dress with floral patterns on it. He lifted his hand looking for the watch, but saw nothing but his newly manicured hands and a big purse. He looked around and also found he was standing in a completely different place them he had before. Turning back, he spotted the convenience store where he worked across the street. He walked over to the window, hearing clacking as he went along, and starred out in disbelief.
Across the street, he could make out a woman standing inside the store where he had been standing just seconds before. She looked to be a 30 something white woman with fairly large breasts and ass. Somehow, she was not only wearing his old clothes, but they had been resized to fit her curvier body. The only other noticeable change Tim could make out was that her black hair was short and cut exactly how he always gets it.
Tim felt the back of his head on instinct and found his normally short brown hair to be wavy and cascading down his shoulders. He walked back in disbelief to "his" shopping cart and looked around. No one seemed to think anything was odd about him standing there in a dress. That was when he realized what all this meant. "Holy shit." He thought. "I'm in that woman's life, and she's in mine. I gotta get that watch back."
He quickly abandoned the woman's groceries and made his was across the street. He could tell his face was beat red as he was forced to walk around in the yellow dress. He entered the convenience store to find the woman stacking the shelves with a bored expression on her face. Apparently she didn't think it was odd to be working there at all. Tim tapped her on the shoulder, which was probably a little painful with Tim's new nails, and she got up to talk to him.
"Yes? Do you need something ma'am?" She said, in an obviously fake happy tone.
Tim was still shocked that she was completely unaware of the swap. He knew he had to play it cool. "Um, yes, uh, Tim is it?" He asked, reading the woman's name tag which was now pinned to her massive breasts. Tim cringed a little as it was still his voice but he was forced to speak like he was imitating a woman. "Well I was looking for..." Tim began to say before he noticed the woman wasn't wearing the watch! Tim began to panic as he excused himself away with some "Forget it." line as he shuffled to another isle, leaving the confused woman who thought she was Tim to keep stacking.
"If she doesn't have it, then where the hell is it?!" He thought, beginning to freak at the thought of living this woman's life. He began to think of where she might have put it when he had an idea. "There's no way." He said quietly aloud. He opened the purse he had been carrying on instinct and nearly laughed aloud when he spotted the watch inside.
Without hesitation, he picked up the watch and repeated what he had done before while thinking hard about his own life. He suddenly saw his scenery change as he found himself in the middle of stacking the shelf. He looked over and saw the woman look around confused. Tim was starting to worry that she may have remembered being in his life as she approached him.
"Uh, are you alright ma'am?" He asked concerned.
"Yeah I'm fine, it's just, I don't remember why I came in here? I remember leaving the grocery store to get something in here but it's slipped my mind!" She said laughing.
Tim sighed in relief, realizing the watch compensates for any time spent as someone else by editing their memory. Tim happily helped her look around the store before she gave up, laughed it off, and went back to the grocery store. Tim smirked as she watched he walk off. He couldn't believe the power he had. He could swap anyones life, with only himself knowing what changed. "I can have some real fun with this." He thought as he began to think of possible people and places to try it on.
