Todd uncovered his ears painfully as the baby stopped crying momentarily. Wondering how his next plan would play out, he adjusted the remote and fired again.
The toddler looked around, still stunned and scared and trying to figure out what to do next. But in the following moments, most of her fears began to melt away, along with most of her intelligence. "Oh, what are my parents going to say?" she thought to herself. "Or my boyfriend? I'm a freak now! I'll be locked up in a -- Ooh, pretty lights!" She stared upward, then tried to grab the florescent lights on the ceiling as a giggle escaped her lips, before stopping herself.
"What is wrong with me?" she continued inside her head. "Come on, Samantha. Pull yourself together! You're Samantha Brown, a 20 year old college student." She looked around at all of the people still in the library, running for safety. "I wish those dollies weren't scared of me. Wait...They're people, NOT dollies! Ooh, but they're so tiny! I wanna play with them."
Todd watched as the baby started crawling away, her mental age at 5 and continuing to dwindle. "Come here, dowwy!" her voice boomed playfully inside the cramped building. She tried grabbing a few of the people around her but thankfully they were able to escape in time. Deciding he needed to get yer outside, Todd grew her further, then ran out of a nearby door as the ceiling broke apart.
A few seconds later, the massive form of the baby appeared, her head covered in dust as she continued to swell larger. Stopping at 50 feet, Samantha surveyed her surroundings, realizing everything around her -- and everyone -- was essentially just a toy to her now. She began crawling away and Todd decided to put a diaper on her bottom, then...
