The amulet dangling from the leopard-woman's neck vibrated and grew hot as the confrontation stretched out. Then it pulsed with a soft yellow light that caught the attention of the two cats. Then two things happened.
The huntress gasped as she suddenly entered oestrus. Her nipples, even the vestigial ones, hardened and jutted out. Her heat pulsed through her, sinking her down to her elbows and knees. It concentrated and intensified in her nethers, which came alive with swollen arousal. The leopard-woman's breath came out in ragged pants and she almost steamed in the cold night air. Sucking in a deep breath, she let loose a loud yowl that echoed into the rainforest.
At the same time, the jaguar recoiled like he had been stung. A bolt of energy coursed through him as Hacjuel blessed him. Hacjuel. That word came to him, as well as its meaning. More words and meanings followed in a flood of knowledge as the jaguar was granted a new intelligence and self-awareness. He blinked, and suddenly his world took on a new meaning.
Another yowl snapped him from his reverie. The leopard-woman was helpless in her heat, rolling around in the loam and desperately fingering herself, panting and yowling and moaning noises that were not quite leopard and not quite human. The Jaguar found the display incredibly arousing. He watched as the amulet slipped from her neck and landed in the dirt. She was completely unaware, lost to her instincts.
A compulsion came over the jaguar. His powerful muscles tensed and he sprung through the air. He growled as both paws landed on the amulet with a bright flash.
