John realized Brody was waving at him, smiling. As he started to wave back, he realized that Brody would be perfect for this experiment! So instead he walked over to join him and Hunter.
"Hi, John!" Brody said, with a goofy grin on his face. "What's that stuff you've got there? Gatorade?"
John was about to explain when he decided it'd be better not to tell the truth. Not yet, anyway.
"Yeah. You can have a bottle, if you want."
"Gee, thanks! I'm really thirsty," Brody answered. Hunter left at this moment claiming he needed to use the nearest restroom and asking John to make sure Brody didn't get into trouble. John assured him nothing bad would happen.
Brody began chugging the liquid he thought was Gatorade. It tasted great to him, like fruit punch. Soon, he'd finished the entire bottle.
Suddenly, he was seized with pain and stiffness. He froze in place as his muscles began to swell. His pecs became melon size under his shirt, his abs formed a solid 8-pack, his biceps were thicker than baseballs, and his legs and butt were shapely. His shoulders broadened and his neck thickened. Even his jaw seemed more masculine.
Brody gasped as he was able to move again. His clothes looked painted on!
"Oh my gosh! Can you believe this happened to me, John?"
John smiled and asked, "What are you going to do with that new titanic body of yours?"
"I'm gonna sign up for the junior football league!" Brody said, running off to do just that.
