Kellie was confused she got a text... from Jack? How? ... Of course she'd have never blocked him in this timeline.
But what shocked her far more was the contents!
'How dare you use my daughter as bait for your trap! Last I checked, you thought you were the heroes and we were the villains! HOW DARE YOU! You want to be enemies that badly? FINE! Whatever scheme my mother has, I just wanted to speak with Katie! We'd have plenty of chances to make each other's lives harder another day! With me at least I know Katie would be protected! You were willing to use her as a pawn. I thought that was we, 'the villains' were supposed to do! I knew you hated me, but I never imagined you'd endanger Katie over your grudge with me! I am ashamed for you!'
Kelly stared at her phone in stunned silence.
"He really did just want to speak with Katie..."

"Hey, don't worry about it, they'll get theirs," Rexie said to Jack, in an awkward tone, being a innocent sin, comfort did not easy to her.
"They WILL get theirs man, I promise," Sebastian said patting Jack on the back.
'Maaya' said, "So who wants to have some 'fun' tonight?"
-
"That couldn't have gone better if I'd planned it," remarked Lilith to herself and her partners in crime. "If Jack's resolve wasn't cemented before, it is now."
Circe said, "I can't believe you wanted a glance at what's left of Morgan, who she is has ceased to exist, all there is her flesh now."
"Tasty flesh," Baba Yaga said.
Circe rolled her eyes. "So are we at war now? I'd say after an act of treachery like that, we'd be perfectly justified, they made the first move, none will be able to say we're unprovoked. It's a golden opportunity." Circe had been dying for a chance to express her talents again. In this day and age, there were thousands if not more humans who'd happily submit themselves to Circe's magic, if modern media was to be believed. But Circe had had to restrain herself, much like Baba Yaga, while they'd been raising Jack. Now that the cat was out of the bag, she saw no reason not to visit one of their gatherings of human wanting to be half-beast bipeds, and be worshipped as the demi-goddess she was!
"Even my son knows that an all-out war would be a disaster for all involved Circe! They've given us justification yes! But that doesn't change what the end result would be! If they want to believe such moves against my son are justified, then we should return the favor."
"At. LAST!" Circe grinned.
