Jame was going to lie... He WANTED to lie... Something in the pit of his stomach was telling him that Eli was dangerous. Something within the realm of his new instincts. Yet The wolf itself disagreed... It felt the same but something was making it try to get James to tell the truth. He was having an inner battle with himself. "A few days ago I was infected... Slept for two days... And changed for the first time without a full moon very recently..." James blurts out. His wolf got him to answer. Eli looked puzzled "You're telling me you didn't need the moon?... That's... Very strange in all honesty... You haven't killed any people have you?" Eli asks. "What!? No!" James says. Eli seemed to relax "I believe you." He says. "How did you know I was a werewolf??? Where did you learn about this???" James asked. "A book my parents left me... They were... Werewolf hunters... And now I am too... I ran away because my caregiver is with a werewolf pack that hunt and murder humans for sport. I defend other werewolves from danger if I need to... If they actually deserve it... I'm glad I can still call you my friend." Eli smiled. James felt a bit comforted. His instincts calming themselves. He was glad to have his old friend back, and James' wolf seemed glad too.
