The school was once filled with silence. But when it was broken by the ring of the bell, the dam broke lose. Children came pouring out of their room and steered the hallway without a care in the world.
Unlike before, or the fuzzy remnants of my memory, school used to be filled with distinguishable cliques. But now, I can't pinpoint who the nerds and jocks are. I floated to one that wore some glasses and expected I'm to be a nerd. But he called out to leaner students and invited them to practice swimming for the competition. The fashion queens talk about the latest spec of their computers and where they could buy good ones online. It was a convergence of cliques and interests.
But one stood out amongst the mix. Rather, two of them.
One girl and one boy. They are white, from shoes to head. They look at students with disgust under the chill facade of their sky blue pupils. They walk with elegance that are only superseded by the guards behind him. An aura of solid superiority surrounds the two. From the looks alone they are assholes, inside and out.
"Brother, the time has come yet again." Lyra said as she stopped in the middle of the hallway. She was oblivious to the fact her towering guards stopped and blocked the students behind from passing.
"I know dear sister. As such, I bid farewell." Leon said.
"Farewell."
The two twins touched the other's cheeks and separated at the hallway. Their guard followed Lyra and Leon walked alone to the direction outside the school. I followed close enough that I could see Leon. But far enough that would not accidentally possess random students.
Leon walked outside the school grounds and into the tennis court. Students were already playing inside but when they saw Leon enter through the gate, they scrambled away.
"Right on time again Lyonel." A woman with sharp looking glasses said. From the looks of it, she is the tennis coach.
"Of course. If I'm not, then I wouldn't be a Lyonel."
The coach looked at Leon with one eyebrow raised. She and I realized how pretentious that sentence is.
"Ooookay Lyonel. Get dressed."
Lyonel entered the changing room with me following close behind. There's a boy undressing inside the room. He turned around and greeted Leon a good afternoon. To which, Leon did not give enough thought and ignored.
"Fucking Lyonel." The boy cursed under his breath.
"We're the only people inside this enclosed room. Did you think that I wouldn't hear that?" Lyonel hissed.
"Finally you talked. I thought you were a mute."
"I will have you know that I control this school. Speak against me and I will have you remo-! Agh!" Leon crumpled in the ground. I can't take how much of an asshole this guy is. I had to do something so I possessed him right then and there. There's no blackout, just a quick cut to a change of perspective.
I could see that I was facing the ground. My hands, as white as pearl, are right in front of me. They were trembling. Along with that, my heart is pounding like crazy.
"Are you alright man?" The boy beside me said. He crouched down and helped me stand up. "I didn't mean to hurt you."
"You did not." I coughed. My voice. I heard them and they were unlike my own.
"Do you need water or something?"
"Please."
The boy ran out of the room but soon came back with a bottle of water. I gulped the liquid down my throat. It was sick that I am ingesting such liquid inside me. But at the same time, it's refreshing.
"My whole life, I haven't hear you say please. Well except your sarcasm 'pleases'." He said. "If you haven't known by now, my name is Ian."
"Ian." I said. "Can you help me with something?"
"And what's that?"
