"Come on girls, please don't splash too- and then they kissed!" Dalia found herself saying to her best friends.
Rebecca had invited her best friends over to swim and talk about their favorite stuff like boys and the Kardashians, but there was another secret motive. A bit ago Rebecca and her friend Emily had discovered a magic camera, which they only found was magic after accidentally turning Rebecca into a boy and back.
They were freaked out so they hid it at Rebecca's house hoping to never let it be found, but after a bit they felt guilty. They were a group of three through and through so the two girls felt bad keeping it from Dalia. Rebecca and Emily gave each other a confirming nod and both approached Dalia.
"Huh? Guys what's up?" Dalia asked confused.
"Listen girl," Emily said in her normal ditzy tone, twirling her blond hair. "We gotta, like, tell you something big."
"Yeah." Rebecca agreed, tugging on her curly red hair. "But you might not believe us at first so bear with us."
"Okay shoot." Dalia said smiling.
They told her all about how they found the magic camera and after discovering its abilities how they hid it and felt extremely guilty not telling her. Dalia got up without looking at either of them as she approached the nearby fence, her head lowered. Rebecca and Emily looked at each other nervously before asking Dalia a question.
"Like Dalia?" Emily started. "Are you alright?" Rebecca finished.
"You girls..." Dalia started, before turning around with a huge smirk. "Are soooo stupid." She laughed and laughed as Rebecca and Emily just groaned.
"We're serious Dalia! It's really real!" Rebecca yelled, frustrated at her friend.
"But we figured you'd do this, so, like, that's why we're prepared to show you." Emily followed up.
Dalia was still laughing but agreed to follow her bffs as the trio made their way back into the house and up the stairs to Rebecca's room. Rebecca opens the door to find her mother holding the camera and aiming it right at them! Her mind raced as she realized that she wouldn't be aware of whatever change occurred. She'd know about the camera still, but she'd have no way to fix it. She had to act fast.
