"So... this is bad, then?" Gabriela said, gathering herself as well as pushing these new memories aside. "If we don't stop it, what could happen?"
"Nothing short of this world being turned upside down and the rules of reality being rewritten." Edwin said, running his hands through his hair. "In short: we're fucked."
Gabriela was about to say something when, suddenly, the two felt the same feeling as before pass throughout their bodies as well as throughout the college, just as the period ended. As students piled out of their classes, Edwin quickly grabbed his girlfriend's hand, pulling her through the crowd.
"Wait, where are we going?" Gabriela asked, her breasts being squished against her body as Edwin pulled her through the crowd.
"To the courtyard!" Edwin answered, making sure to keep Gabriela close to him. "You broke the Chronivac there, so now we're going to fix it!"
Alas, the changes had already begun, as Edwin and Gabriela could see throughout the student body.
Edwin noticed that gender and race were the things being changed here, gender always being the case, as he witnessed football jocks turning into cheerleaders, computer nerds becoming bimbos, bombshells becoming hipsters, and etc. Edwin could pick up moaning sounds from behind him, like a female voice e becoming deeper, but he disregarded this.
The strange thing was; reality didn't seem to change this time, everyone seemed to realize their predicament.
Urgency creeping into Edwin's body, he made a course for the door once it was in sight, but suddenly the hand entwined with his own felt different somehow.
"E-Edwin?" He heard a deeper, more baritone voice say, as he turned back to look at where his supposed girlfriend should've been.
Instead, he saw a more muscular person, obviously male, that could've easily been on the soccer team. The look in the male's eyes, however was all Edwin needed to realize who he really was. "Gabriela?"
"I-I'm a guy!" He exclaimed, momentarily letting go of Edwin's hand to examine his body. "This is so weird!"
Edwin, unfortunately, didn't have the time to remind the now male Gabby about what they had to do, about finding the Chronivac. Why, you ask? Because he too was now feeling the changes of the Chronivac.
Looking at his body in curiosity, realizing there was nothing he could too, Edwin could only look on as he became....
