CYOTF (Animal)

A New Kind of Savannah Exhibit

added by higeman 4 years ago A O Anthro Mental

As the screens fade to black, the gazelle girls are left still sitting in their trances before some attendants enter the room, all dressed in zoo keeping outfits. They began gently herding the dazed girls into the back of a truck filled with what appeared to be piles of dried grass on the bed and seats. And without struggle due to their foggy minds, they allowed themselves to be loaded on and shipped out, before falling into a deep sleep...

"Mmm... that was a nice nap..." the gazelle once known as a human named Taylor mumbled as she arose from her slumber, using her furry hand to move her still human hair out of her muzzle. She looked around to see her fellow gazelles also sleeping in the tall grass together, before she noticed one with black hair lying closest to her.

In her human life, she would have known the girl as her best friend and classmate, Amy. But since they were gazelles, the notion of names was a silly one! For a gazelle like her, she only knew the dark haired gazelle and the others as her fellow bovid sisters.

"Sister..." she said with a sleepy smile, pushing at her furry shoulder gently. "Sister, wake up!"

Her sister moaned sleepily a bit before sitting up on her knees and hooves, moving her own hair behind her long furry ears. "Mmph... Oh, good morning sister. Where are we...?" she asked in sleepy confusion, both their memories being hazy about anything before they woke up.

"Hmm..." she thought a bit, her antelope-like brain trying hard to comprehend anything other than being a gazelle her whole life. "I think... I think we're home, sister." she concludes after looking around a bit.

The dark haired gazelle looks around, seeing quite the 'familiar' sight: a large Savannah plain with a few trees and rocks dotting the area. Further off in the distance, just barely touching the horizon, was some strange lines that seemed to trace out an area of their home. Home? They are, gazelles after all, so it would only make sense that this was their natural habitat. Yes, this was their home, and it always has been to their knowledge.

Smiling, the black haired gazelle stands up with her brown haired sister, now aware of their fellow gazelles waking up as well, holding her hand closely. "Well, welcome home to us, sister!"
