Amy and Taylor's gazelle ears twitched, along with the rest of their sisters as they heard a thundering sound in the distance. Quickly looking in that direction, they spot a herd of zebra, galloping on their hind hooved legs across the plains, the wind flowing majestically through their hair manes. A little closer in proximity stood were some giraffes, stretching their long necks to munch on some leaves growing from one of the many trees that sparsely dotted the land.
There were many other anthro girls like them, all of them species native to the African plains, all of them with minds that saw them all as natural-born animals, despite being human-like in body and some of their mind. The gazelles' scanning of the land had unfortunately distracted them from the pair of golden eyes that slowly inched closer to them.
Taylor's ears flicked to her back, causing her to look behind in another sudden fit of attention but it was too late. From the tall grass leaped a lioness girl, her age no older than Amy or Taylor, her blonde hair flowing over her brownish yellow fur, her tail wagging in anticipation as she tackled Amy with her thick paw hands, causing her sisters to flee in gazelle-like bounds.
"I've caught you my prey!" the young lioness proclaimed, her golden ears turning back forwards to her caught prize before harmlessly, if not playfully, nibbling on the gazelle girl's ear. "Ack! I've been caught by a lioness! Sisters help!" Amy bellowed, in a panicked way that sounded more of frustration than of fear.
Her sisters pranced back to the two of them with Taylor chuckling at her predicament. "Well maybe you should have been more cautious sister! Now the lioness has you in her jaws!" she told her fellow gazelle before grabbing her furry arm to pull her out of the lioness with little success. "And she tastes delicious in them, too!" the lioness said as she moved from her ears to giving the captive gazelle giant dry licks up her cheek. All the while, Amy could only give out a mix of a wimper and a bellow, helpless against the lioness' strong body and voluptuous furry breasts pressing against her.
Eventually, with the combination of entire the herd's effort and the lioness' satisfaction with her playtime, they eventually freed their sister from the lioness' grasp. "Now that I've had my fun with you gazelles, why don't we get a drink from the watering hole?" Amy and Taylor look at each other before to their sisters, before nodding at the lioness' offer, prancing off with the lioness as she joined the rest of her pride towards the center watering hole.
Indeed, all of the girls here believe they are animals of the wild, yet they abide by their own rules that the master of the zoo, their master, bestowed upon them. While predators still have their base instinct to hunt their natural prey, their 'hunt' is limited to simple catching and playing with their target, respecting the lives of their fellow African animal girls, as predators have their own feeding time to satiate their needs. As such, there is no real violence among them and they can freely act on their instincts to ensure their behaviors as their represented animals.
The gazelle herd and lioness pride soon found themselves at the watering hole, where a majority of the other anthro zoo girls congregate to drink from the waters, as well as mingle with the local inhabitants including hippo girls wading halfway above the water, occasionally snorting from their flared nostrils, and crocodile girls playfully snapping and laughing at the scared jumps they cause to other prey that happen to drink to close to them.
