Ash thought about it. Considering the person was about 80 she'd write "The person on the other side of the street would become young". She didnt bother putting in an age because she thought the book no way could change someone based on what she wrote but soon enough she looked up after hearing the cries of a small boy cry "I want my mommy"!.
In the place of where the old man was now a small child around the age of 4. Most likely since she didnt specify age. The book thought she meant real young. She hurried accross the street to try and calm down the young boy who was once old.
"I want my mommy!" continued to cry the boy
Ash thought quick. Without thinking after spotting a woman with a kid she wrote "That woman is and was always the boy's mom".
"Billy. How many times have I told you to not wonder off on me. You had me worried sick" said his now mom
"Sniff. Sorry mommy" said the boy as he was walking towards the woman
