As you get out of bed, you notice a bit of an aching feeling in your mouth, more specifically in the front where your teeth were. Licking over them, you wince a bit as your tongue moves over your two front teeth, which you notice feels a bit larger than before, as though it was protruding further out.
After a slightly painful teeth brushing, you notice your sisters were downstairs, minus Zoe as she regularly sleeps in even later than you do on the weekends. They were still having a late breakfast, though it seemed to only consist of vegetable juice. "Morning Grace, Lucy. Just having some juice for breakfast?" you ask curiously.
"Yeah... we woke up with a bit of a toothache and can't really chew on anything hard at the moment," Grace said, covering her mouth as she ran her tongue over her front teeth. "So we decided to take make some juice from the veggies we had, just to make it easier for us. We made some for you and Zoe too." Lucy continued, handing you a large glass of orange and green juice while gently rubbing her upper lip where her own front teeth would be.
You take the glass, suspecting it was a pretty healthy combination of carrots and other leafy greens you had similarly at the picnic. You chug the drink down, surprised at how tasty a normally bitter drink was. Despite their efforts, you could see that your sisters in fact did have larger teeth like yours, though theirs looked grown out a bit longer than yours, as though they were buck teeth. You shrug at the idea, distracted at how delicious the juice was.
Eventually, a groggy Zoe stumbles her way into the kitchen, letting out a barely understandable, "Mrng" before grabbing a glass and immediately gulping it down. It was not uncommon to see her wake up and act like this, but it was a surprise to see her face perk up with a smile that unintentionally showed off her own slightly larger front teeth like her sisters. "Man, this is actually pretty good!" she exclaims before noticing the three of you looking at her with smirks at her sudden turn in mood, causing her to quickly attempt to put up her usual rebellious attitude. "I mean, yeah it's alright I guess. Doesn't help with this stupid toothache of mine..." she mumbles to us.
You're about to question her toothache when your mum comes in through the kitchen door, her face a bit flush and breathing heavy as she just came back from her early morning jog. "Good morning everyone!" she says cheerfully with slightly buck teeth. "I don't know why, but I had a feeling we might have all gotten some toothaches this morning, because I got one as well! Must be my mother's intuition kicking in! But anyways, I stopped by our lovely neighbors house and they suggested a dentist friend of theirs who just opened their business today!" she said in a overly cheerful tone before flinching a bit to rub at her teeth, a dentist business card being held in the other hand. "And I set us an appointment today since it's clear we all need it."
You and your older sisters thank her for doing that for you while Zoe just moans at being dragged into something against her prior knowledge again before giving a half-hearted thanks. All of you get changed into your casual clothes and spill into the car, you looking at the business card your mother was handed.
"Rabbit Family Dentistry, huh? I hope they're a good as what our neighbors told mum!"
