Maddie could hardly believe what had happened to her. If she hadn't seen it with her own eyes, she might have thought it was a dream, but it was true, she was a 12 year old girl again. The ring had somehow done this to her. She could change her age, and somehow she could change her clothes. Many thoughts came to her head as she thought about them, but as impish as she felt, she wasn't sure about going out like this just yet.
"Might be just safer to experiment at home." She said aloud. "I'll try something simple first."
Looking herself up and down, she thought about what to wish for. When she was an actual 12 year old she'd had braces. "I wish I had braces again....ah!"
Her exclamation followed a strange, almost alien feeling as metallic taste came into her mouth and she felt something attach to her teeth. Running her tongue along them she found her formerly perfect teeth were more crooked as they'd been when she was 12 and she was now the proud ...or perhaps not so proud owner of braces. Grinning, she saw how much of a dork she looked and didnt mind now.
"OH my gosh...."She said with a slight slip to the s's. "Ok, I wish that I was wearing something comfy that a kid my age would wear when home alone."
At once her shrunken soft clothes shimmered and turned pastel, with colorful designs of flowers, rainbows puppies and unicorns. She looked just like some of her son's friends when they came over for sleepovers. That brought another thought then, almost without realizing it. "I wish I knew what it was like to be a boy like my sons...."
