When the last of my wounds closed, I jumped. I landed on a small hill but a misstep caused me to lose my foot in. The weight of my body shifted to my side and then I rolled to the ground. Stones and dry leaves latched onto me and did a small number of wounds. None of them were serious enough so they are healed as soon as they are made.
I looked to my surroundings. I was surrounded by trees of autumnal color. Winter is coming soon. I need to find a warm home to stay in. And probably wait out the viral scanning sweep of the B.E.G.
Luckily, I spot a meager town beyond the treeline. I stood from my spot and walked feebly towards the town. The injury I sustained must have made me hungry. I need to eat once I regained my strength.
For starters, the town isn't that big. I've seen towns like this throughout my run. Hunting here has a great risk from being hunted myself by the townspeople. But incidents in these places don't reach out into the open. So B.E.G. would have a hard time looking for me here.
As I roamed the town, I chose a place where I can stay at.
