I was tired so I didn't care for formalities. I entered the nearest house and collapsed at the floor.
I woke up to the sound of television and hushed voices. A male, no older than 18 was talking to his telephone. But it doesn't sound like he's calling the police. Rather, he's talking with his friend. And they are talking about me.
"I think he's waking up." the voice above me said. "No. I'm not calling the cops Tim."
I opened my eyes and looked at the boy. Pale skin and brown eyes and hair. A thin sod and probably beaten judging by his swollen eye.
"Shh... I'll talk to him."
The boy put the phone down and walked in front of me.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"Why should I tell you?"
Only a few people knew my real name. Namely, the upper echelon at B.E.G. and a few friends in Europe.
"You barged in my house in the middle of the morning, puked on the carpets and collapse on your own shit. Lucky for you, I'm kind enough to not call the cops. Name's Phil, you."
"Riance." I raised my hands and touched his eyes. Small tentacles grew from my fingertips and bit around his sockets. I connected our bodies so that he could use a bit of my regeneration powers. His ruptured veins slowly healed and the blueness of his eye sockets washed away.
"What did you just do?"
"Healed your eye. Now we're even."
"Th-that was amazing! How did you do that?"
